Hay Sales
All available hay for the 2009 season has been sold, but we have 18 extra acres of timothy/clover/grass mix ready for harvest in 2010.
We only produce horse quality hay in small square bales with an in-chamber moisture meter. The crop is cut with a disc-mower conditioner, and tedded with a pequea hay fluffer to retain leaf, improve drying and reduce bleaching.
Weather permitting first cut hay is harvested in earlier June (late boot to early seed head emergence) to facilitate a second cutting in late Summer.
